Brave Bears and gentle Golems have lived through peaceful times together, embracing each other's existence within Totemtaff.
A sinful shade overshadowed this sight when mankind discovered gem rocks; grown upon the backs of these great golems, this prized resource now became the powerful backbone for rune devices.
Illegal miners and barbaric poachers began to trespass territory in search for profit at the Golems' expense, and to protect their fellow aborigines, the Bear warriors stood up against humans, which relations only grew worse over time......
